KoolFlex™ Primer

KoolFlex Primer is an acrylic resin primer formulated as a high-performance polymer emulsion designed to saturate and bond polyester fabrics in the construction of reinforced, fluid-applied silicone roof membranes. Engineered as both an adhesion promoter and bleed-blocking primer, KoolFlex Primer enhances the performance of Kool Coats silicone roof coatings and is suitable for use over EPDM, PVC, Hypalon, concrete, modified bitumen, and asphalt BUR roof systems. This primer applies with a light yellow tint that cures to an amber finish, signaling surface readiness for topcoat application. The color change also provides visual confirmation of coverage, helping applicators quickly identify and correct missed areas to ensure long-term roof system integrity.
