WC-298 Asphalt Emulsion Non Fibered

WC-298 Asphalt Emulsion Non-Fibered is a water-based, clay-stabilized asphalt emulsion used as a flood coat and surface provisioning layer in gravel-surfaced built-up roof restoration projects. When gravel is removed or vacuumed, WC-298 helps fill voids, smooth rough surfaces, and create a uniform weathering surface prior to coating.
Once cured, the emulsion forms a water-resistant asphalt layer that can be primed and top-coated with acrylic, silicone, or urethane coating systems as part of a complete roof restoration assembly.

Typical Uses:

• Flood coating and surface leveling for gravel-surfaced BUR restoration
• Weathering surface for smooth or mineral surfaced built-up roofing
• Base coat beneath reflective aluminum coatings
• Protective coating for metal flashing, parapets, and masonry surfaces
• Damp-proofing layer for below-grade walls
